Mom & Dad Care

About Me

I am the eldest son of elderly parents who lives 1,500 miles away them. My mom has been a Type 1 Diabetic for 65 years; My dad has the early stages of Alzheimer's. They are now in assisted living.

I assist them with their daily lives as much as I can--medical, financial, etc.

I wake up each day and go to sleep each night thinking about them and worrying about their well being, health and safety.

This blog is meant to share, to vent and to educate.
